General Interest Sites
- The Web Developers Virtual Library gives tips for HTML, CGI, and most anything else you'd want to have on a web page. They have a well designed Site Map, and many tutorials.
- The World Wide Web Consortium (or W3C) tries to keep the Web working with common protocols. They are the "standards" folks for HTML and its derivatives.
- Dave Arns has put together a Quick Reference guide for HTML tags. It's useful for those things you can't quite remember.
- For those wondering why there still is no good support for typesetting mathematics on the Web, there is some hope to be found with the definition of MathML.
- Stylemaster is a nice little piece of shareware for the Mac which makes the creation of Cascading Style Sheets quite simple. Even if you are not a Mac user, the tutorials which are available are really fantastic.
